About the Photographer

There’s no dog like yours, and the same goes with your dog’s photo to stand out in a magazine ad. This is why Ling’s approach to photographing your dog is unique, personalized, meticulously planned, and photographed with care.

Ling Messer is the photographer who “thinks outside the box” in creating dog ad imagery. While many photographers today can take dog ad pictures with just their camera, Ling takes it a step further by planning the background, emotion, props, and lighting method needed to achieve any specific, desired look & style.

Based out of Northeastern Connecticut, any location in New England is great for a shoot, but Ling does travel to serve photography clients all over the United States.

About the Dog Ad Photography Sessions

Different for Every Dog

Because every dog is unique, every ad photo shoot is carefully planned with a unique background or studio set (indoors or outdoors), that won't look the same as other campaign dogs. It's important for your dog's photo to look original and unique...to not be easily replicated.

Years of Creative Photography

Ling Messer has been a successful photography business owner for over 10 years, specializing in creative portraiture, photo shoot planning, and professional lighting techniques with a variety of gear to choose from based on the ideal photo style, dog size, & best features of your dog to highlight.

Assistant or Professional Handler

Not sure if your professional handler would be available? Need someone who knows how to stack your dog? Would you benefit from a groomer on set to keep an eye on your dog's fur? Each shoot includes an assistant. If you need an experienced handler, I can provide that too.
